Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been warned that the upcoming book release as well as their Netflix docuseries is a “make or break situation” for them. The royal couple were criticised for inconsistencies in their previous interviews. Royally Us hosts Christine Ross and Christina Garibaldi discussed how the public will “connect the dots” if the stories do not align.

Ms Ross said: “There’s a lot of conversations about consistency and stories. This is going to be especially with that Netflix docuseries coming up, the book coming up, all the recent interviews that Meghan has been doing.

“People are going to start either connecting the dots and everything’s going to be consistent or they’re going to start finding holes.

“I think there’s a big microscope on Meghan and Harry right now so I’m hopeful that they could have gotten their story together.”

Ms Garibaldi added: “Definitely I feel like this could be a make or break situation for the two of them depending on how well the public receives the book, how well people receive this Netflix documentary.”

It comes as Meghan revealed she found the British citizenship test “so hard” and even the Duke of Sussex had “no idea” of some of the answers.

The American-born actress spoke about studying for the Life in the UK test on the latest episode of her Archetypes podcast.

Meghan said she turned to Harry for help while practicing for the official government quiz, but the British-born duke – who is fifth in line to the throne – was also stuck on the questions.

When Meghan’s engagement to Harry was confirmed in 2017, Buckingham Palace announced that the former Suits star would become a British citizen.

Meghan laughed and said, “You think?”

The Duchess also chatted with her “dear friend” Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, the First Lady of Canada – wife of the Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau.

Meghan spoke about how they spent time together in the summer with their children, and how she bought an “inflatable pizza slice” pool float online which proved to be a “big hit”.

“This wasn’t our day of being the wives and moms, all perfectly quaffed with updos and pearls and demure smiles,” the duchess said.
