Jesse Lingard – 6
Lingard operated from the right side of United’s attacking quartet, in what was, sensationally, his first Premier League start of the season. Unfortunately, his impact on the contest was miniscule as United’s attack generally gravitated towards the left-hand side. Was substituted for Anthony Elanga at midway through the second half.
Bruno Fernandes – 8
Fernandes tore Leeds apart in the reverse fixture at the start of the season, and it was his trademark late run into the box which downed Bielsa’s side again. Regularly found space in-between the Leeds midfield and defence, providing a subtle focal point for United’s attack.
However, the Portuguese ace should be disappointed by the way he was disposed by Forshaw in the build-up to Leeds’ equaliser.
Jadon Sancho – 7
Enjoying what has been his best run of form since making the £73m switch from Borussia Dortmund to United, Sancho dazzled on the left-flank of United’s attack.
The Englishman seems to have rediscovered his eye of the tiger, providing a wonderful, floated cross for Fernandes’ to head home, before showing excellent composure and timing to set Fred free for United’s third goal.
