Leicester 1 Spartak Moscow 1: Vardy’s penalty flop leaves wasteful Foxes at risk of Europa League exit

LEICESTER wasted two points against Spartak Moscow during a 1-1 draw that saw Jamie Vardy missing a penalty at King Power Stadium.

The visitors opened the scoring on 51 minutes when former Chelsea ace Victor Moses beat Kasper Schmeichel following a dink by Mikhail Ignatov.

But the Foxes responded just seven minutes later when Daniel Amartey headed home after picking up a flick by Ayoze Perez.

Vardy had the chance to seal the win on 75 minutes from the penalty spot after Moses floored Ademola Lookman but the star striker wasted it.
