‘I’ve always felt regal’ The Chase star Anne Hegerty on being related to the Queen

However, Anne is still busy with another project. She will be taking to the stage in a pantomime production of Beauty and the Best next month at the Wyvern Theatre in Swindon.

She will be taking on the role of Fairy Flutterby in the winter production, which also stars Britain’s Got Talent finalist and comedy impressionist Paul Burling.

She received the scripts in October and it was “nice” to be involved in the production, which marks a change away from the rigours of The Chase.

Anne said: “You can imagine me being quite fluttery in a sort of galumphing way. So, quite looking for to that.”

Beauty and the Beast will be running from December 3 until January 2, 2023
