A spokesperson for ITV confirmed: “Bob will always be a friend to the show. We wish him all the very best and thank him for his hard work.”

It comes after it was reported Bob was “too busy” to return to the show, as he worked on the German version of I’m A Celeb.

Bob, who was also responsible for handling snakes, spiders and other creatures will be replaced by a different expert.

As the new medic has yet to be publicly named, fans are sharing anticipation for I’m A Celeb in South Africa.
