‘Feminist inside me is burning!’ Rochelle Humes fumes over male period officer appointment

On Wednesday’s instalment of This Morning, the panel spoke about the backlash of the job to promote Scotland’s free access to sanitary products being given to a man. Discussing the subject, host Rochelle Humes admitted she felt passionate about the topic.

During the conversation, host Andi Peters said he believed Scotland was doing the right thing in terms of offering free sanitary products.

However, Rochelle told him that wasn’t the problem before she shared her thoughts.

She said: “The feminist inside me is burning!

“I think we’ve come such a long way and we want to see diversity in the workplace and when you’re seeing a male-”

Interrupting, Andi asked: “But is this not diversity in the workplace?”
