Prague Airport has announced that the low cost airline EasyJet was forced to divert its route from Krakaw to Bristol after a suspected Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was reported on board.
The flight was diverted at 10:50 local time Sunday night and landed safely in the Czech Republic capital.
The Czech Republic police are currently ensuring the safety of all the passengers and air traffic.
The police tweeted: “Our pyrotechnicians are currently on the scene and are investigating the presence of the reported explosive system.”
They will inspect the plane to try and locate the suspected explosive device.
