BBC Breakfast presenter Dan Walker stayed at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel in King’s Cross earlier this week. The BBC Breakfast presenter hopped onto his social media account on Thursday to inform his 745,000 followers that after having experienced some issues with the room he’d initially booked, staff ended up upgrading him to stay in the royal suite instead.
“So… best news ever,” he began.
“There was an issue with my room at the @StPancrasRen so I got an upgrade… TO THE ROYAL SUITE!!! SHUT THE FRONT DOOR(S)!”
The Strictly Come Dancing 2021 contestant went on to share a string of photos from the comfort of his spacious suite, which included a dining table big enough to fit 18 people.
“It might only be one night… but I need to make the most of it,” Dan added.

In December, Dan confirmed he would not be joining the rest of the Strictly stars on the upcoming live tour, which kicks off next week.
Stars of the BBC show, including Tilly Ramsay and Amy Dowden have been seen rehearsing for the 33-date nationwide leg throughout the past couple of days in London.
But the Match of the Day co-host will not be participating due to his hectic work commitments while juggling his free time with his three kids.
“I can’t wait to take my family to watch the #Strictly tour this year, but I sadly won’t be part of it,” he shared in a tweet last month.
“I have too many work commitments, and I want to be at home after spending so much longer on the actual show than I ever expected.
“I’m sure it’ll be amazing – as usual.”
BBC Breakfast airs daily on BBC One at 6am.
